I opted for a day rest today and slept till noon. It feels so good. Although the way was not as fulfilling as I wanted it to be, but at least I had some quiet time for myself to think what am I going to do with my future Saturdays because I have too many things to do over the weekends.
URG: And I still haven’t packed my room.
I have a few things in mind actually but I think if I gonna reveal some of them to my mom, she will diao me.
I’m quite sick of the colour of my wall. my parents love to keep walls white because it is simple and clean-looking, i think.
With the current state of my room, there is no chance of personalising it. It just serves my sister and I the purpose of sleeping and storing our things. So I think there is many more things to be done prior to re-designing the room.
The first step would be getting rid of stuffs prior to some of the unnecessary furniture
I’ve heard of a rule for spring cleaning, that is for things that you have not used in the past 1 year, it is very likely you won’t ever use it again so throw them away.
It’s very true and I always remind myself of that. And I still don’t know why am I retaining so much rubbish.
Anyway room-clearing is always the #1 agenda in most people’s new year resolutions, right?
Well, I try to do it but at the very last min when cny is nearing and it’s stressing me out.
This year cny eve falls on 2nd Feb (wed). That means I have about 3 more weeks to complete.
Since we’re on the topic of new year resolutions, I have a second one on my list.
#2- change my outlook. I was advised not to shorten my hair length. So what should I do??? I want to change my hairstyle lehhhh…..
