uncle-boy
today is another usual feel-good day and it seldom falls on a sunday.anyway, I've made an embarrassing mistake outside but it's not too bad cos I'm the one inflicting that embarrassment on an innocent stranger. correct mah. it's better to feel guilty than to be embarrassed. It took place at a neighbourhood provision shop in commonwealth (I was hanging around that area cos my family and I had our dinner there).
what happened was... I was busy discussing with my mom on what I can eat for tmr's breakfast and then I suggested french toast but I couldn't find bread (the normal kind with the brown skin; they only had the ones that are found at coffeshops) !
so I asked the shop attendant (was unintentionally loud),"UNCLE!....eh you got the normal bread anot?!"
I still can hear my mother mumbling "sunshine sunshine.." and giggling in the background lor...
according to her, that big and botak-looking guy that stood right in front of the items which were being scanned through to and forth by me became like that...
then he just squeaked a no.I still pouted and harrr....-_-
my mom then explained to me when we were out of the vicinity that he is still a boy!
mommy: he is around kor kor's age lor! how can you call him uncle?! he must be cursing you now *sniggles*
