ok where was i? i promised to update the things today, so i gonna blog now.it's kinda sad to see the camp to end actually...=(but anyways, it's over already with a once again, very happy ending.however, the ppl who were absent are very disappointing..out of which, some are my close friends.this camp is really meaningful. the campers aka ncos-to-be are playing the roles of a leader and a follower simutaneously, unlike any other camps. That is why i've said i've learnt more about my sqdmates. you see when we are left alone to make decisions, everyone's true colours are revealed. it can be in the form of many many brilliant ideas.... or can be a test of one's sensibility, leadership, initiative etc. negative personalities also surface, such as lack of endurance, interest in learning, genuine enthusiasm or reluctancy to switch to a different role.i tink the CIs are incredible! bcos i'm very sure that i've learnt and absorbed ( probably not applied yet ) lotsa things throughout the 4 NCO modular Courses b4 MYE, 2 days residential campb4 june hols & 2 days non-residential camp during june hols.many many things were taught..and i cant be listing everything out.ppl who are not members of this organisation may not understand esp. my family.but it's okay bcos just based on verbal explanation is definitely not enough to clear their doubts, thus i've given up in trying to explain to anyone who asks me this," why you go np? np everyday march march march..not sian meh?"the standard answer to this is actually" noooo...np actually offers more than that..blah blah blah" but that doesnt really help bcos they wouldnt understand till they experience them. so all i need to do is just to smile politely.regarding the march march march issue...it's not totally untrue.bcos that's what all UGs do what, it's just how they do it to meet the objectives as far as possible.for example, for the past 4 days in sch, the st.johns were having camp in sch. they march in a straight line, in their cca shirt and any bottom wherever they go. now this is well, good in a way bcos they are moving as a grp lor.but so wat? you can also walk in steps wat. and the thing is that er...their marching is of no difference from walking. ok nvm. that was a paragraph of rubbish. just ignore it and i've just wasted 1 min of my life typing that. oh crap...!back to the understanding of the rationale behind the things we do in ntnp from the perspective of someone who is part of this organisation. it looks almost impossible to me to explain to them( another reason why i find recruitment a challenge)....so try to manage your anger and dont feel frustrated when people mock at you for being stupid to invest ur time in np when you could be revising your schwork. o...kay. that was sth for me to make myself feel better...and also to point out that ntnp is the school which provides the holistic education for all all-rounders? yes it sounds corny. i couldnt tink of anything else..sth liddat lar. that's y i cannot put everything into words. not at a loss of words but well...mental block bcos there are too many things to say at a go.okay just a brief self-reflection for today:muster parade- being a pc/sqd i/cs is not exactly a pressurizing job afterall.just needa run through the things to take note in your mind again and again.i'm a person who is so careless. one of the factors that trigger that is bcos i always forgo the mental preparation for unforseencircumstances.control of your collegue is tough. sth must be done...which apparently, i've gt no idea on how to do it.what you think about your own's presentation may not be what others think.the speaker is always unaware of the minor flaws which can be quite irritating when committed too often.that's all i haf for the day.now i've gotta wait for the posting results, start working on quiz comp, and go fer briefing on msia trip tmr.
