was at ubin for the past..2 days for atc ( adventure trng. camp) oso known as annual torture camp.
this yr's atc is special bcos for the first time, the sec2s n 3s r camping at the same campsite on the same day, oso it dun seem lyk a torture camp. we actually din haf pt for 2 mornings. it so happened dat the morning rain is falling.
i was in grp. 5.only newtowners in: maurice, shuyi, khusyrie, benjamin and me. the others r ppl from other units in area16. i somehow got a feeling that, ntnp's achievements arent dat well known to the other units.to the other "betta' schools, and i dont mean units, we juz seem to b an ordinary neighbourhood sch. my bunkmate from rv asked me," do YOUR unit even organise camps...?" i was kinda erm..well, pissed? kinda gt insulted.woah it's lyk.." DUHHH !!!"
why are they erm...trying to act superior.? i dunno la, dat's wat i tink. either we r nt acting lyk a gold unit, or mayb our sch doesnt haf a gud reputation, so the others presume dat we're juz an ordinary unit, or are they juz...being ignorant? but i tink more shld b done to prove dat we're made of pure gold. lyk our sec2 sqd's skills, nt exactly polished. tanglin seemed to haf a betta idea on tent-pitching......rv, nanhua n acsi r intellectual. they often tok alot, vli outspoken. so dat's where we're often being left out. um.
